Trump and Co. want to strengthen right-wing populists in Europe. “The US remains a security and economic policy partner for Germany and the EU,” says Adis Ahmetovic, foreign policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group in the Bundestag, but there can no longer be any talk of an ally with the usual certainties.
