Your Smartphone Backup at NSA
#210920 / vista 4301 vecesHave you recently lost your smartphone or the data that was on it? Have no fear. The NSA is here. And now the National Security Agency can provide you with full, free, lifetime backup and restore services, care of the American taxpayer. Yes, of course, that is not a real news headline. However, it may well come to be, if the American government is forced to open up the records it has collected on hundreds of millions of people all around the world. It does not matter if they have stored every bit of data on the Internet. What they have done is to collect mountains of data, in the hopes of sifting through it from time to time, in order to find a grain of sand in the desert, or a drop of water in an ocean of information. This is literally the newest weapon of the information age. Netizens beware. America, the land of the free, and the home of the brave, has equipped itself with the world's most immense data bank, from regular people in every corner on Earth, all under the guise of national security, ostensibly under the banner of fighting the War on Terror against various small groups of people in far-flung places like Afghanistan and Pakistan, as well as closer to home, in allied countries across Europe, and South and Central America, as well as in its own country. If you think you can leverage the information about America's public embarrassment at being caught red-handed, spying on its closest allies, then you might be in a good position to trade on that information in the business markets. There is always a value to knowledge gained from broader issues, and the affect they have on investments which people make every day. Those investments can be made in brick-and-mortar trading institutions, like Wall Street or the Paris Bourse, and they can also now be virtual trading platforms, which operate online, 24x7, every day of the year. Remember that when you trade online, you can access markets around the world, with just the click of a mouse. And at least now you know that when you are trading, even if you forgot to write down your password or other essential, private data, you don't need to worry, because America has your backup, so to speak. Of course, if you find a way to get to your private details, we would love to know how you did it, because who knows? It may be useful in the future. And after all, isn't this exactly what the First Ammendment is meant to protect? A copy of your free speech is your Constitutional right, unless of course you're not American. In which case, you're up the creek without a paddle. So enjoy the row back to shore.
