Zu seinen ersten Maßnahmen gehörte denn auch, den Ausstieg der USA aus dem Pariser Klimaabkommen zu unterzeichnen. So widerruft Trump das Ziel seines Vorgängers Joe Biden, dass bis 2030 die Hälfte aller Neuwagen elektrisch sein sollen und blockiert die Fördergelder für Ladestationen.

These decisions are causing the oil industry to rejoice, while renewable energy sector stocks are recording significant losses. As reported by CNN, Trump is aiming to double the use of fossil fuels and wants to reverse progress in climate protection.

One of his first measures was to sign the USA's withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement. Trump revoked his predecessor Joe Biden's goal of half of all new cars being electric by 2030 and blocked funding for charging stations. Drill, baby, drill instead of Load, Elon, load!
