I have a little problem with this caricature. I think the whole works, the hair, the position of the shoulders, the dress... but the face I see I can improve it, for example the lower section, now longer as it really is, and the chin, which I am not satisfied with...
And Marc got the point, older and skinny, so I'll try to arrange it. Besides I need a different position of the face, why? you'll see soon...
And yes, this mug is really difficult, a challenge for cartoonists. Although the difficulties, I wish you can overcome them. Good luck!

I'll have to disagree with you Xavier ,I really think this piece is outstanding ,maybe you feel that way because she is really hard ,but trust me you got her good.but..by all means make another version of her ...keep the inspiration coming for I am having a lot of trouble with her mug...Regards

Yes Marc, I agree with you, I am not really satisfied with this one... so I am preparing another version of Merkel, and it will be a little joke with Steini about your contest.
