Thomas Baehr

Thomas Baehr, *11/14/1968, born and raised in Germany, lives and works currently in Brooklyn, NY. Working in advertising and social management, he has also become a published comic artist, illustrator and cartoonist who’s work has appeared in both Europe and the US.

As a self-taught artist, Thomas attended no art school. He works usually with graphite and ink on paper. He colors his cartoons and comics with markers and his PC.

He participated with his cartoon art as well as his fine art in exhibitions in Germany and the US.
Thomas’ first graphic novel “The End is Here” is published at Act-I-Vate in 2008. It is based on his comic strip “Pole”, which he created in 2005 and published regularly since in various magazines.
