For me Liz Cheney is a glimmer of hope.
I can't even express how frightened I am by the right-wing republicans' lack of understanding of democracy. Their inability to take the democratic rules of the game more seriously than the persons in power or those who stand for election respectively.
They call themselves 'Oath Keepers' and have no qualms about abolishing democracy by election.
I think America's schools need to do more for civic education!
