In his speech on Oct. 23 Erdogan did not repeat the project of a common investigation of the case together with Saudi Arabia.
This looks like establishing more distance towards Saudi Arabia.
However, Erdogan avoided any clear judgement whether MBS might be involved or not.
Provided, Trump and Erdogan would agree to support MBS such a telephone conference could still happen.
