"The Cockroaches United Will Never Be Bulldozed"

If you've seen my Instagram, you know that Necroparliament has been on hold for a while. It's meant to be coming back next Wednesday with No. 17 taking place in the Commons chamber! But before that, I've wanted to make this cartoon for sometime. Though the cockroach protests have faded away from the media landscape, they're still having a big impact in Indian politics and society. From helping to fix schools to a planned march in Delhi on 5th September, the movement shows no signs of slowing down, and they deserve the attention to shed light on Modi's corrupt fascist government.

अगर आपने मेरा Instagram देखा है, तो आपको पता होगा कि 'Necroparliament' कुछ समय से रुका हुआ था। यह अगले बुधवार को एपिसोड नंबर 17 के साथ कॉमन्स चैंबर में वापसी करने वाला है! लेकिन उससे पहले, मैं कुछ समय से यह कार्टून बनाना चाह रहा था। भले ही 'कॉकरोच' विरोध प्रदर्शनों की मीडिया कवरेज कम हो गई हो, लेकिन भारतीय राजनीति और समाज पर इनका गहरा असर बना हुआ है। स्कूलों को बेहतर बनाने में मदद करने से लेकर 5 सितंबर को दिल्ली में होने वाले नियोजित मार्च तक, यह आंदोलन कहीं भी धीमा पड़ता नहीं दिख रहा है। मोदी की भ्रष्ट और फासीवादी सरकार के असली चेहरे को बेनकाब करने के लिए इस आंदोलन पर ध्यान देना बहुत ज़रूरी है।
