US President Donald Trump is currently acting as his own builder: he is having parts of the White House demolished to make way for a magnificent ballroom. Excavators have already arrived at the East Wing. The new ballroom will cover an area of around 8,400 square meters and accommodate up to 1,000 guests.

Meanwhile Melania is not amused, because that's where the First Lady's offices were located.
