Schon des Öfteren kam Anna Magdalena, 2. Gattin Ludwigs des III von Hessen und bei Rhein zu Ohren, dass sie einen Silberblick habe, was ihr völlig unverständlich schien, da sie güldenem Geschmeide absolut den Vorzug gab. Als einzige Ausnahme erwies sich ihr silbernes Rasiermesser, welches ihr mangels elektrischem Epiliergerät zur Enthaarung extrem empfindlicher Zonen diente.

Allerdings bei ihrem Gespür für witschaftliche Zusammenhänge und der Besitztümer ihres Gatten konnte sie sich eines gewissen "Versilberblicks" oft nicht erwehren.
