The world is barren and dark, full of loneliness and there is no one there to play with. What are you supposed to do - imagination is in need. This is no problem for an infantile genius like Mozart. He brings light into the darkness, jumps exhilarated from one note to the next. The score is a chalk drawing in the shape of a hopscotch game: Mozart plays a typical child's play, jumps carefree over naive melodies. Bertelli Matteo, from Italy, loves the artfully winding paths and tangled angles. Here he perplexes extremely clever with a double bird's-eye view: from a befitting distance, the observer becomes aware of a delicate composer, who in turn, revolves with an absorbed look around his creation like an exuberant eagle, forgetting the melancholy surrounding him. An admirable response to an astonishing world paved with rough cobblestones!
