I partly agree.. some more research on the flag and the name of the party would have helped. The colors and use of space are awful. BUT I also think a second version of this could turn out as a nice illustration - the audience & Merkel on Steinmeier on their horses do look funny in a good way.

this is a fine example of a bad editorial cartoon.the cartoon has no message,
the colors of the german flag are upside down (or is it the belgium flag?) and the abriviation of the german conservative party CDU has no dots. sorry, but not knowing anything about german politics is not helping to make a good cartoon.

Tacere in prim-plan...duel din priviri ,in ciuda echiparilor din dotare si zgomot in tribune...Unele,de incurajare.
Aud voci ,Mav...
Nu stiu ,daca-i de rau pentru mine...Imi pare ca-i de bine pentru tine...
Si mai vad si niste stelute...Cinci ,de toate.
